Farmers' Friend is a successful agricultural machine manufacturer that had already built a massive organic following via their YouTube channel. However, they lacked a centralized sales engine. They approached GCF to transition from "Organic Views" to a structured, paid strategy with a dedicated online store.
Our mandate was to build a Digital Vertical that could capture existing demand and scale it through paid acquisition, moving sales from phone calls to direct online orders.
Strategic Execution: Test to Scale
Phase 1: Deep Discovery
- Collaboration: We worked directly with their sales team, even taking live lead calls to understand the customer persona.
- MVP Launch: Developed a basic Shopify website to test online purchase intent.
- Insight: Identified key friction points preventing farmers from buying online.
Phase 2: High-Intent Experimentation
- Google Ads: Launched high-intent campaigns focusing specifically on high-demand machinery.
- Optimization: Experimented with various bidding strategies to find the "Sweet Spot" for cost-per-acquisition.
- Outcome: Validated the sales channel with consistent lead flow.
Current Phase: Global Scale
- Redesign: Upgrading to a custom Shopify architecture for higher Lead-to-Sale mapping.
- Direct Sales: Successfully generating COD (Cash on Delivery) orders directly through the website.
- Expansion: Scaling the digital vertical to target global export markets.
